The African Membrane Society (AMS) held a water & filtration workshops during MSAS 2018 & 2014 in Bamako. Maliwatch played a key role in promoting AMSIC, a panafrican association headquartered at ENI-ABT : the National School of Engineering of Bamako.
During Winter 2015, Maliwatch and other Malian organizations donated $5,000 to NGO MaliHealth to initiate the Ebola Focus Project - an effort aimed to mitigate the spread of Ebola across Mali.
Maliwatch co-organized the Mali Symposium on Applied Sciences (MSAS) held in July 2014 at the Centre International des Conferences de Bamako. Theme: Les Reseaux du Savoir pour le Developpement.
In 2014 MaliWatch financed the purchase of 35 school desks and tables to help rebuilding the school of Zaroire (Commune of Ansongo) that was destroyed by armed militias in 2012.
In 2014 Maliwatch partnered with Mrs Diarra T. Toure head of ODI-SAHEL NGO and donated hundreds of hydration pockets to the community of Bignaville, near Mopti in Mali.
Dirty water (from the Bani river, near Mopti) can turn into safe drinking water after diffusing through the white pocket via osmosis. Many Bignaville residents were able to enjoy some safe clean water thanks to the efforts of ODI-SAHEL and Maliwatch.
